Happy New Years everyone, Here is another night that at least I got a little bit of sleep it is hard to sleep when you have so mush on your mind I am still on the old labtop my other one is in the shop getting a memorie up grade then I am going to put OS XP on it that way I can use the new camera that my Daughter got me when we web cam

                  This Christmas was really neat because my Daughter couldn't get leave so we opened our gift's over web cam we got to see her opening her gift's and she got to see us open our gifts it was really neat it was like she was here with us and in a way she was so that was really enjoyable, I hope that my Son can do that this Christmas (2008) he will also be out of the country for Christmas and hopefully my Daughter will be able to come home

                   The weather has really taken a really bad turn the temp right now is 9 degress with a wind chill of minus 20 something so needless to say it is really cold outside right now, We started to take more stuff down from the outside display we brought in the snowmen and the wreath all we have up right now is the banner's and I'll get them down this weekend when it is a little bit warmer out, We got the airblowns in on the 26th of December because we wanted to get them in and put away while they were still dry we had 7 of them out this year so that was a lot for us for the space we have to put a display but it was real nice and a lot of people were commenting on the display our neighbor she really liked the count down to Christmas clock that we had out this year we put that out on Thanksgiving and really started to light up on the night of Thanksgiving but that is the time that we normally did always light up after all they say that is the begenning of the Holiday season But I have to say in a way these store's really rush the season our WalMart had Christmas stuff out the week the kids when back to school form summer vacation and that was Aug 29th so that is really early anything to make a buck I guess they forget that their is Holloween and of course Thanksgiving to go threw before Christmas I wouldn't doubt that they have shorts out already for summer and stuff for Easter I just think that it is a shame But then again I am only one person so like always Who Care's

Well here it is another night that I am having a tough time sleeping but that is OK My Son got back from hunting for deer about 17:30 ate some supper and went down to his buddy's home for awhile he said that on New Year's day that they are going out again and also on Monday and the fellows that he is hunting with tokd him that he could drink all he wanted after he got to his new base that he didn't have to go drinking on New Year's Eve That hunting is more important then drinking these guys really want him to get his deer so he will have something to remember when he is on this heartship deployment for a year, that will keep him going till he get's home next's year in 2009, I like the idea of him not going out to drink on New Year's Eve because you never know what is going to happen on the roads that night because there will be a lot of people who are drinking and driving and I don't want him to be one of them.

                                       I was just thinking earlier tonight at how fast kids grow up and leave the so called nest I was remembering when I was a kid growing up in a small town, at how we use to play street hockey in the winter and of course living in the city we use to go to the local school play ground after the kids went home and in the summer to play stick ball with a rubber ball and a old broom stick, how fast thoes years went by at the time all we wanted was to grow up and now looking back why did we want to grow up so fast for I can remember my Dad taking my buddies and I out to Bedford after school and we would all fish for a few hours like from 16:00 to 20:00 then go home and do our home work go to school the following mooring and so it all again the following day and on the weekends we would go fishing eariler in the mooring and make a full day of it, you knew it was Trout Season the car was always packed man how I miss fishing with my Dad and now my Son when he is on Base or Deployed, When my kids was growing up I loved spending time with them most of the time it was with my Son, I wish that I would have spend more time with my Daughter, Doing Daughter and Father things what we use to do ( my daughter ) that is was stay up late at nights when I was off watching movies and playing board games, But I have to admit that was a time that I really got stressed at work and to be truthful I was a real AssWhole, I thought being a good father was like being a drill SGT and that is not the way that it is It took a Heart Attack for me to see the light and know that God has given me a second chance to be a good father and I did take advanage of it and really wised up lucky for me it wasn't too late and I did get to be the father that I should have been all along and now my kids and I are really close and I love it being that close and you know people say that in a way you can feel your kids when they are in some type of Danger well that is very true I can scence it when my kids are in Danger or if they are sick and that is tough because they both are in the Military and normally get deployed at the same time I knew when my Son was sick when he was in the middle east and at times I can feel the stress that my Daughter has so being close has it's advanages and being a close knit family is the way to go no doubt about it

Here it is 01:30 in the am and I'm still up I hate it when I just can't get to sleep, Last night this dang cold kept me up every time I layed down I got to where I had a hard time breathing and now tonight even after all I did today or I should say yesterday with taking down some of that Christmas stuff from the outside you would think that I would be really tired but for some reason I'm still up, But this is nothing new I do get time when I just have a hard time sleeping, even in the hospital when I had the last Angioplasty they had to give me a sleeping pill and then the nurse's told me that I was a light sleeper because every time they came in to check the IV I would wake up and talk to them,

                                   My Son when mussel hunting today and is going again in the mooring I sure hope that he would get one that wuld really make his year he has a bad year coming up with going to another country again for a year and that would keep him going the fellow's that he is hunting with one of them is the Son of one of my Neighbor's and he said that he Son's live for hunting and that they do see a lot of deer so I guess he just might get one I hope so anyway Don't know just where we are going to put it but we'll find somewhere

Well with it being a little bit warm for December and being that Christmas is over and we only have a week to light the Christmas Display up we decided to take all of the airblowns down and get them put away before they got wet with either snow rain or ice so I got all go them down and out to the locker and put into their box's and then I came back home and torn down all of the platforms and got them put away for the rest of the year till next Sept when we put up the fall display it was a job but at least it is finished for another year, I have to say that it was nice and a lot of people comment on the display and they said that they liked it and that is why we do it for everyone's enjoyment in a way it is our Christmas gift to the Apartment Bludging where we live and the People here are really nice neighbor's you would really want none better and what really makes it nice living here is the bldg manager when ever we have a problem he is right here to get it fixed up and running again, But anyway now we are looking forward to the new year and hopefully it will be a good healthy one for all of us and may all of our soldiers come home safe and sound and may we all find PEACE amen

With it being Christmas in a few day's I though that a few words just might be in order

     May your Turkey be free from shot shell, and may his legs be thick with meat, May your ham be tasty May your Goose be fully cook and juice, May your sweet potatoes be firm and not soggy and sweet, may your Christmas tree have a straight trunk and may it's needles be firm and tight, and most of all May all of you have a very Merry Christmas and a Very Happy Healthy New Year and Remember Jesus is the reason for the Season and for thoes of you who think that I'm wrong with the Merry Christmas and all you can just go to work just like you would any other day and as far as your rights I really don't give a shit about your rights because you are the type of people who step on all of our rights and in my way of thinking if you don't like it leave they have boats and airplanes leaving this country every day put your ass on one of them believe me you won't be missed to the rest of us Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Well we had a little bit of a problem today with this old girl this computer crashed and we just had to redo it so close to Christmas and that is what we had to do but at least it is up and running again, then if that wasn't bad enough the card that I run the wireless off of the program got messed up and we just had to go out and got another one and you know I think that it is running faster then the old one was so all in all it is up and going again but man the stuff that I have to go and download again

Well with the snow getting cleaned up from this weekend's snow and Ice storm getting all cleaned up and getting back to normal the temp's are suppose to go into the 40's again later this week, But man Saturday and Sunday was a mess we first had a ice storm come threw and then on Sunday the snow started and we finally ended up with about 6 inch's of snow on top of the ice what a mess and slippery when they plowed us out this mooring they plowed it down to ice there was a car in the front row and when he was trying to get out of the parking lot he got stuck well that don't suppries me because he cut his wheels before he got up on the hill My Son went out to help him get it out and well one of the problems he had was he was giving it too much gas when he started to move and naturally the car started to spin so I went out and with this fellow and my son pushing I got behind the wheel and give it very little gas and the car came right out with very little trouble He said man does it show that you are from this area this fellow was from Maryland  and being from the south and not having winter tires on and his summer tires were in need of new tires  , That was one of the problems but we got him out and My Son and I both told him that if he was going to start coming to Pa to get a good set of winter treds speaking of winter's that is all my car needed we took it up one of the hill's where we had to go up and it did real well didn't spin a tire so that is all it needed I kind of knew it after last winter when it came thew it came with all season summer tires and here in Pa with the winter's that we get that all wheel drive car should have all season winter tires , But then again that is what I am use to with having nothing but 4 wheeel drive truck you get use to having good tires and going in the winter but  the car did real well so now I don't have to worry about getting stuck anywhere

Well we are having a very snowy day today I had to clean the car off to go to the Doctor's Office this mooring and when I came out of the office I had to clean it off again, they said that this is a short clipper coming threw and it is suppose to be done by 10 pm tonight so we'll see and these weather people really get up all tight when it snows they are telling every one to get food in and everything else These stupid people forget where they are living it goes Hello we live in the Mountains what do you think winter is, Yes we do get snow in the winter and a Heat wave for us is temp's in the 70's in the spring, they really get up tight when the Temps go like down in to the Zero range and of course we get a little snow when the temps are that low it is like hire someone from this area to give the weather not from the south or the west Not that these people are not good but they are not use to the weather in this area or at least hire someone who has at least lived in this area for 5 or more years so they don't get excised over a little snow a normal snowfall for this area is anywhere from 3 to 10 inches and they hit the panic button at 2 inches man that is nothing more then a pain in the butt snow it is not enought to shovel but it is still enough to clean off the car and when your driving it is enough to splash on to the windshield but what can you do

Man what a very disappoint day we had today, Today was our town Dickens Christmas affair and man was it a joke it is like who ever planed it this year really didn't even try Last Years event was Great and very enjoyable this year it stunk The said that they changed it a little and yes they did they changed it a matter of trying to ruining it for good  anyone who went to it this year and if it was their first year coming here to se it and have a good time were very disappointed it was nothing like last year , To say that I am a little upset you bet ya I was telling all of my friends about how nice it was I was going from the way it was last year and now I look like a Ass they change it alright to the worst thing that any town can have it is like that they didn't even try to make a go of it Last Year we had about 200 vendor's and all kind of food this year they had 2 vendor's and that is bad, I keep remember the old saying if it isn't book you don't fix it and that is what they did messed around with something that wasn't broke and just runined it for everyone I hope next year is better then this year was who know I just might not even go to it next year that way I won't be disappointed even my neighbors was saying how it really sucked the one lady was telling me that she took her 4 year old Grandson up to see it and when they couldn't find it he wanted to go home after 30 mint's and just to go home and watch TV anything is better then that was and that is bad when you don't have nothing for the children

Well it took us a while but the inside of the house is finally done but we did do a lot of other things also The Wife went threw all of the stuff we had and decided to get rid of all the older things we no longer use and that freed up a lot of space that we really need for all of the new things that we have gotton over the past 3 years, the living room look's great and all of the decor that the Wife put out look's really nice she really did a great job on it all I had to do was get the lights on the tree and of course shape it but then again it is only a 4 foot tree so that really wasn't that hard the hard part was taking all of the other stuff to the Goodwill man some of that stuff was heavy and she put it all in a big box I had to use a dolley to get it all out of here I sure couldn't carry it and right before that we went threw some of our old clothing and gave it to the Goodwill also so that will work and at least some other people could use it the clothing no longer fits us either it is too big or we just our grown it but anyway it is there now and other people can enjoy using it at least it is better then going for a ride on the garbage truck to the landfill I don't get into threwing good stuff away when other people can use it.
