We've Been working on the Family Genealogy and man is there a lot of work  in this I never thought that there was that much work involved in it But on the other hand it is kind of fun and I am learing a lot of stuff about the family and where they came from, i learned that our family came from Limen Baden Germany and one of the founding Family Members founded a town here in Pennsylvania and the reason that they left Germany so like I said I am learning a lot of interesting stuff But on the other hand when it comes to investing the family on my Mother's side and also My Wife's sid I have been hitting a lot of brick walls But that is to be expected I guess because they didn't keep too good of records back in the so called Good Ol Days But we do our best and just keep chucking.

                         The Wife and I are trying to get the Porch done for the summer display but the weather isn't coperating everyting the Wife is off of work it rains and get's cold in fact the other day we even had snow can you believe that snow in May but being where we live that really isn't uncommon we had some light snow in June already so that is what you call living in the Mountains

Still working on the Family Tree and getting everything together I never knew how much stiff was invalid it this type of hobby , and then you have to go to the library to get the microfilm and go threw all of that stuff what a job but it is fun when you do find something, and of course on the nice days I have been ridding down to the 6 mile mile marker and back for a 12 mile ride I am only a mile and a half from Nanty Glo so that isn't too bad for now and when the weather is not too good I go over to the fitness room for a 2 !/2 hour workout got to stay in shape and I do feel better when I do something like that

I had a telephone call from my sister on Sunday telling me that my Aunt had passed away she was 96 years old, That is what I call a long and somewhat healthy life she was a really nice lady and I have to say that she was they type that you didn't get away with nothing with her it was like she could look right threw you and know if you were giving her a line she will be missed I use to go to her place as a small child, I really enjoyed going to both of my Aunts house's and I also have learned a lot from there husbands I think that is where I got my my love for fishing and hunting from you see my own father at the time didn't hunt he really didn't like hunting he fished tho I can remember one time when my Uncle Red was in his work shop making a fly fishing rod and asked me what I thought of it to which I said man would I like to have one like that and you know he trurned around and gave me that rod to my suprise he was making it for me and I have to say that rod caught a lot of fish in the streams of Pennsylvania till I fell in a 10 foot hole and lost the dang thing I never found another good rod like that one again

Just a Gun Totting ,Bible Thumbing, So Called  Bitter Person from Pennsylvania

I had to reset the speedomator on the bike yesterday I went about 125 miles in a week and a half on our trail up here that was only ridding to the Five Mile Marker and back for Ten Miles round trip but that isn't too bad I call that trail my training trail it help's me keep in shape Tomorrow I think that I'll go to the Lower Trail in Blair County and ride down there We are planing a trip to the north this summer for one of the big trail's up there With all of these bike trails there is a lot of ridding to do and different places to go and have a great time,

                             My one neighbor asked me how much money I had tied up in the one bike he said that he is starting to think about bike ridding scene his Golf Game is off I told him to just wait and see how it goes later on in the summer scene it is still early in the year, everything is a little bit harder in the beginning of the year so we'll see how it goes he asked me if I'll go with him if he decide's to get a bike and I told him of course I will and I'll take him down where I got my they will give him a good deal

I know that it's been a while scene I wrote in this blog, I have been tracing my family history and all that good time consuming stuff like that I think that call it Genealogy, It is really neat I went to the library with a neighbor and he tough me how to use the microfilm and stuff like that I have found a lot of information out down there, as long as you have the dates and stuff like that you can really go to town with that kind of investigation and it is really enjoyable

                   But for right now that Genealogy is kind of on the back burner for right now because the weather is starting to get nice and with that comes bike riding I have already put about 125 miles on my bike in a week and a half just on the trail where I live The Ghost Town Trail I call it my training trail But the way it looks for now that might be the only trail that I'll be going to this year with the price of Gas man did it go out of sight we are now paying $3.60 a Gallon and I know that other states are paying more then that I think that this whole country is getting out of hand and it is all because of the person who lives on Pennsylvania Avenue but then again this just proves that anyone can be President even if you are Below Average God Help Us All and with the people who are running for the office this really scare's me to death this country is going down the tubes real fast something has to give before it all turns to S#%t

With this beomg Easter Weekend I talked to both kids it is so hard being the parents of 2 soliders with each of them being out of the country but it is also Hard on their Mother and me, I was so use to talking to my son every night when he was in N. C but now that he is out of the country again it is hard, and also my Daughter is out of the country at present time so needless to say we always have a phone card for world wide so we can at lest call them, and it is always good hearing their voices I miss them both so much, it really sucks having them so far away but you have to let them live their own life's all we can do is be here for them

I had to fixed the Wife's computer today for some reason the internet explorer when nuts trying to load 5 different pages at the same time so this called for a total reformat that means I had to F disk it  and put in the ME setup CD and start it off from scrach man do I hate doing that because it takes so long to get it back up and running again but we got it up and running for her but we only put the mim in the computer like the virus scan and that is it that is all she wanted in she doesn't use the e-mail or the messengers or nothing like that, jso it was pretty stright forward stuff as long as she can get to the web site she likes to check her order's and stuff and read what people say about the stuff she wants to order and most important she is happy at all times like the old saying when Momma is happy everyone is happy but when momma isn't happy no one is happy and that is the truth without a doubt,.

Well our so-called weather bureau missed it again up here in Pennsylvania, Well I really shouldn't say the  weather bureau I more  should say our local television stations news, the huge snowstorm that was supposed to hit us missed us, but not that were complaining I can live without a huge snowstorm I guess, and now that we have our time change again  we are now and hour foreword, so instead of being 7 a.m. it is now 8 a.m. which means spring is right around the corner which I cannot wait till I get out on those bike trails I am really getting anxious now that the weather start in a turn for the good, I still have to get out were the bikes are kept I have purchased to news speedometers one for each one, on the one bike I have what they call a wireless speedometer and unfortunately for some reason it just don't want to work properly but all in all the wire doesn't bother me either  all that I have to do is attach more wires to the bike forks which they give you the wire ties so that ain't too bad.

                                           As far as my shoulder goes it turns out that it is either arthritis or bursitis the medication that they put me on is working, I am now using this shoulder whenever I do my daily workouts I have told the doctor that I am kind of pushing the envelope but that is the only way we will know for sure My theory on life is if you cannot do what you want to do, all you can do is call into a corner and die I do not believe in giving up I am not a quitter by any stretch of the imagination and neither is anyone in my family are family believes is you can do anything you wanted to as long as you set your mind to do it, where there'll be pain, probably but you just have to work through it whenever I started up my workouts yes I did have some pain but I worked my way through it whenever you work bones or muscles after they have been injured of course you're going to have pain but that is not a signal to give up yes if you slow down a little bit but as long as you keep working the muscle that was injured you're still getting a handle on it, and if you stop  all together you have lost everything you have gained, that is why we say at our house never give up.

Well here we are again this weekend were supposed to be getting a another storm ,this time they are calling for a ice storm mixed with some snow towards evening I would rather have the snow than the ice, it just seems like we are really having a weird ass winner this year, I would rather have a  regular winter and be done with it, But it's a ready March so I guess we are just about out of the snow in the ice for right now till around November,

                  I went to Wal-Mart yesterday to pick up another speedometer for the other bike, I had a wireless speedometer on it but it was not working properly halfway through the ride the dang thing would shut off on its own, where the one I picked up yesterday does have a wire I think get is the best type to have even though the wireless are more convenient, but for the money they cost it is just not worth the price over the wire  I am kind of sorry that I did pick up that wireless speedometer, but I am really looking forward to getting on the trail this year my daughter had given me some good information on the distance that I would like to ride this year, she's said to build yourself up to the distance that I would like to ride like taking it in increments a week at a time, like I would like to ride at least 20 miles round trip, to what she said Rideout 1 1/2 miles then ride back 1 1/2 miles for a total of 3 miles but I'll figure something out to build myself up on the trail I still have a lot of time yet till this weather breaks.

We got the computer back from the shop today and I must say that it is running Great like the tech said it didn't have enough memory to run the vista basic that it had when I got it , for some reason they only put 512 MB's in it and that is barly enough to run the vista in fact that is at the bottom of the memorie scale for operating system, so they put 2 gig's in it now and boy what a differents it is so much better so now I'll be enjoying it a whole lot more and be able to do a lot more things with it and now I can give this vista a fair try, But like I said before for that 512 MB it was so slow it is like the old operating system windows 95 even slower

       Man did we get the snow today we got about 10 inches of the white stuff I knew that we would get hit sometime this year in fact I really don't think that it is over yet for the month I know that March can be a very bad month for Penna in fact that is the month that we get most of our bad snow falls
