Talk about a winter wonderland man did we have the snow last night but the kids had school and nothing was held back we got about 4 inchs of power pack snow and I have to say that it was pretty out but also the stupid drivers were also out you know I just can't understand why people think that they can go 60 miles a hour in a snow storm and then they get mad when they slam into a tree and complain that they just can't stop on a dime well hello under that snow is ice dummy all that they would have to do is just slow down instead of leaving for work for you work 7 am to 3 pm shift is leave at 6:15 am instead of 6:50 am and then you will get to work safely but no these people think that they can go like a bat out of hell on ice and then end up kissing a tree with their car and usually get hurt real bad all of this because of they don't want to use that thing that is attached to their shoulders, the way the news said they had a few that has lost their life in this snowstorm and that is a real shame infact the news had on last night that people who don't know or neve had driven on the bad roads to stay off of them, and if that wasn't bad enought theire was a really bad accident on the PA Trunpike which a lot of cars got piled up they shut the trunpike down from Breezewood to New Stentan pa and that is like 80 miles just over this one accident, I know that it isn't easy to drive on snow and Ice but the main idea is just take your time there is no place that is that important that you have to go like a bat out of hell to get there even work is no excuse just leave eariler then you will get there safely and that is the most important thing that there is Safety Alwayws think of your own life when driving on these type of roads and if you are not use to these roads stay off of them there is always tomorrow and by then the roads will be taken care of

We finally got the first floor done for my sister, the house is really taking shape, today the Wife and I went down with a new Christmas Tree for her, there was really nothing wrong with the old one excidment the stand came up missing I know that it is in the house somewhere but where is the Million Dollar question, So for now it was just better to go and get her a new one that way everyone is happy and it also is a lot more less stressful to just replace it and if and when the old stand is found she'll have 2 trees,
                      But with going down there every day it is taking a toll on me I am totally wiped out and I told her today that I will not be able to do anything more till after all the holidays are over and besides there is really nothing that needs done for now anyway We'll go down and help her go threw all that junk after the new year and she should just take it easy for now the most important thing is done for now getting her out of that old dump she was living in and into her new place which I think it a very nice place a lot better then the old one ever was, She is in a very nice neighborhood and it is also a very quite one also so who can ask for anything more.
                      The Wife and I are getting ready for the kids to come in for the Holidays and man are we really looking forward to it also, and then the whole Family will  be home for the Holidays I am like a little kid with all of the excitement I guess all of the hunters are happy we finally got some snow for tracking but on Sunday the weather changes again it is to get warm again and with sun shine and that is the type of weather that I like,
                        I guess the wife and I are going shopping again for food on Tuesday for the next 2 weeks scene the kids are going to be home this is one thing that we are not use to doing, with the 2 of us it is hard cooking for 2 people and it is easier just to order out But we'll see and I know that I'll be doing some cooking, and I will be making the kids favorit foods which I like also. so fun times are a coming

Well for the past few days I have been helping with moving my sister the new place is really starting to take shape, today we finished up with getting the dinning room together, so now the living room, kitchen, and now the dinning room are all put together and I have to say that it really is starting to feel like home for her we still have some minor things to do, and of course some box's to go threw but all in all it is taking shape, I wanted to get her Christmas Tree up for her but she lost her tree's stand I just don't know why she didn't want to keep all of this stuff together but what can you do we only have 4 floors of stuff to go threw to find this dang tree stand but given time it will turn up, and what happened today didn't help anything my Sister put a lamp together and of course she put it together wrong and in my rush to make things look good I lifted the dang lampshade and it was a oil lamp and the ploom that goes over the wick broke so now I have to go and find one of them like it is a real easy thing to find ( Not ) so I am going to have keep my eyes open for another one so I can get it replaced

Well we had a very full day today, We started out at 08:30 hrs we first started out at the Church's Craft show then we made our way to the fire Companty Craft show, after that was done we went to the Highland Cafe for Breadfast, after that we went over to the Memorial Park to see them carfe Ice into shapes for the holiday season. and stopped at one of the vendors who sold sweaters and the Wife and I both of us bought a sweet shirt, after that was finished we brought that stuff home and had a cup of coffee to warm up after we got warm we left again and walked up town to one of the stores we go to and bought some more that we really didn't need but the price was cheep, we went back to the Memorial Park again, to see how far that they had came with the ice after that we came home again to bring the stuff that we got at the store home, by now it is about 011:30 so we had another cup of coffee, and about 12:30 we took out again, this time we left to go to the prison tour at the local county prison after that was done, we got into line for the carrage and sled ride ( the sled had wheels on the rudders, and both was pulled by horse's the Wife really wanted to go on this ride for sure, The wife and I rode in the carrage and I have to say that it was a very nice ride the carrage was in mint condition, and was pulled by 2 of the nices horse's that you would ever want to see and the harness was beauitful with all the siver and all on them, after the ride was over we then headed home for the last time after we got home we then decided that we were going to stay in for the rest of the day, even tho it wasn't raining or snowing it was really cold, it seemed like the wind went right threw you but with the hooded sweeter that I had bought eariler in the mooring under my jacket really kept me warm but the 2nd and 3rd time I took my gloves with me so my hands would'nt get cold, Oh by the way when we were standing in line for the carrage ride Our son called us and was teasing us about being cold, he said that they were expecting 4 foot of snow in the overnight but know him the way I do I don't know if he was giving us a snow job or not but anyway it was just good to hear form him, and after we were home for a little while our Daughter called so with the both of them calling us this also help make our day one of the best days that we have had in a while, and now we are really looking forward to the holidays and for good reasons that I really can't go into now, so for the rest of the night everyone have a nice night and as always God Bless

Today my sister has finally got into her new home that is one giant worry over with, My cousin and my aunt had already got her living room all set up including going to the store and getting her new sofa and getting it into place all she had to do is just walk into the door and sit down and enjoy her new house, we still have to do some setting up but at least all of the majior stuff is done, and now all of the stress is over for her, which I am so happy for her, she no longer has to worry about all of the mold she has been living with for at least 4 months, and the majior leak in the bathroom with the hole in the roof which the landlord really didn't want to fix and at least she now has lights all threw the house not like the other dump where she had no lights in the living room, dinning room, kitchen and the hallway going to the upstairs hallway, no one should live like this But I am not going to worry she will have to answere for this to a higher power and explain her action if not in this world but in the next world.
        We really didn't do too much today with all of this weather we are having we are right now under a high wind warring but that is winter in this area, We didn't even put the blow  up display up this evening but after tonight it will go up every night till the 2nd of 2007,

I still haven't got to sleep yet but I would be willing to bet that I will sleep tonight, But that is OK I really do have a lot on my mind right now with my sister moving and with my Son still being out of the country I just can't wait till the both of them are home for the holidays that will be a good time for sure, I took a ride to Wal-Mart this mooring about 3 am I had to get 3 sets of lights for one of the little things that the wife has it is a little package with lights all threw it and for some reason all of the lights blew out I checked the fuses and also I checked each light and sure enough the lights were burned out so I went over there and got the 3 sets in the color that I needed and changed each bulb and now they make them that one set don't fit another set, so I cut all of the old wiring and rewired the who thing and then I had to change the new blubs to the wright color so I finished the whole thing about 7 am this mooring so what is the use to go to bed at that time of day, so needless to say here I am wide awake moving a little slow but it is not from the lack of sleep that I am use to but for some reason my back is really aching, I guess there is a storm coming in and cold air normally does it I think that it is the pressure that does it with the highs and lows and of course the damness,
                    I had a call from my sister today and she wanted me to talk to my cousin's mother-inlaw they were up in one of the stores today and saw a couch for my sister and she had to call me to see if I minded if she got it or not I am her POA and no matter what they have to clear it threw me and from what they said it sounds like a really good deal and my Aunt had already put a down payment on it to make sure no one would buy it out from under her, so they will take it to her new house on Tuesday and that is Great in my book and now all we have to do is take it easy and she'll be totally in her new home tomorrow, After 20 years she is finally getting out of that shack, I have been after them to move for 20 years I knew that the land lord really wasn't getting the rent to put the money back into the house, they just wanted to keep it rented no matter what, so Now it is totally no fit for no one not even a rat everthing is falling down the walls are falling down the electric is not up to code and the heat is not the best and needs work, no power in the living room , the dinning room the kitchen and not to forget the hallway where you have to go upstairs to go to bed at night it was out right dangerous and needless to say I am very very happy Oh I fotgot another thing there is not bathroom either if you set on the pot  and you might fall threw the floor while sitting on the thron this is real bad in fact I think that it should be condem

Well today went real well this evening I had to go down to my sister's house I had to fill our some change of address cards, while I was there I also went over to the new house man is this new place going to make a big differents in her life, I also took some pictures of the old house so just in case the old slum lord trys anything, when I got home and looked at the pictures I took it is really sickning I can't wait till Friday and she is in the new place and put this slum behind her, the new place is really nice and the fellows are really working on it to get it ready for her, and the other fellows who are moving her are really doing a great job all they have left in the old house is about 2 truck loads and then she is totally out and is in the new house, With her finally getting out of this dang slum it is a hugh weight lifted off our shoulders , I had always worried about her in that place and now where she is going she will have family all around her and I know that she will be safe and be in a nice house where she don't have to worry about anything and the house was bought just for her my Cousin saw it when it when up for sale and got ahold of the owner and it turns out it was someone he knew and he said that he has the perfert person for it so that is why he bought it just for my sister, On the one side of her will be his brother and the next 3 house's on the other side of her is his inlaws so she will be surrend by family and our aunt is just up the street so this is why I am so happy that she is going there,  and like I said I saw the house and I have also had to stop there again tonight As for me I think it is the wright thing to do and I know in a shhort month after she get's in and get's stuff where she wants it she'll be very happy also But the truth be known she didn't have a choose the place where she is moving out of is a class AA Dump even the rat's wouldn't live there

Well we got up this mooring and was getting our supper in the crockpot that is the only way to cook just put everything in the old crockpot and add the veggies and everything and let it go, When the Wife gets home it should be ready I set the temp on low and let it cook for 8 hours, and I have to say it just seems better the longer it cooks the better it tastes

                   I haven't heard from my sister today as of yet I am just wondering if they are going to move her today also the way she said last night was they will have her all in by Saturday unfortually I am tied up all this weekend the Wife and I have had plans for almost a month now for this weekend we are going to our towns Charles Dickens Christmas it is all weekend long and some of the events look to be really fun and it is just one of them things that we can't pass up The Wife wants to go and see the debter prison it is really the old county jail but it looks like fun and I want to go and see the histor musume in  up town they said that they have a lot of stuff to do with a old time Christmas so needless to say we both are really looking forward to it, from wine tasting to see some of the stores and the stories lines that they are doing the newest store up town are doing my favorit Scrooge so that is going to be fun also and at another part of town they are giving carrage rides and the wife wants to do that, we have a copie of what is going on and have highlighted every event we want to go to

Well we finally got the news that we have been watiing for, My Cousin has started to move my sister out the slum that she is living at and into her new house she should be all in by Saturday, this is one hugh weight off of our shoulders, The just knowing that she is moving into a nice safe home and a very nice neighborhood, I know that it is a lot of work for her but like I told her you have to move forward and let go of the past, and besides the person who owns this property really don't have the money to fix it up the way that it should be and to have someone who lives there and expect them to live in a place like that in my way It just isn't going to happen Not with My Sister, so needless to say I am very happy about that.

I really had a suprise today, The TNT Channel had Gone With The Wind on this morring, I haven't seen this movie in years, I know that it is a love story but it is also about the Civil War, The story itself is about a spoild little ritch girl, Who just can't expecpt anything expecpt what she wants, This movie is one of the classics of all times.

          Not too much going on today, We're getting ready to get my sister moved into her new home I just can't believe that now in the city you have to have a permit to move even if you are moving in the city you still have to have this permit and if you start moving before the date on the permit you get a fine, I can't understand why you would need this for but from what my Sister says it is because too many people move with no forwarding address and they leave bills behind for the land lord to handle But you know if they people are leaving they will leave even if they have to leave in the middle of the night, I had a neighbor in the pther place where I lived and you know they left in the middle of the night and we didn't even hear anything not even the dog heard them leave. I call this a midnight express but of course there were a lot of people who did this where we lived in a mobile home park and not one neighbor knew But of course I can't blame them when the old owner of the court sold out to someone who just didn't care for the court all they cared about was the money and of course the court went to hell in a hand bag, that is one of the reasons we left but I'm not complaining I really love it where we are now I never knew it could be this nice no grass to cut and most of all no snow to shovel . and most of all no up keep to worry about just pay the rent and let the land owner worry about his property
