  • We made our way to another part of the Allegheny Passage today, This time we rode from Markleton to Garrett that is a 13 mile ride one way and to say the least we had to ride back to the car we only took the one car this time due to gas prices but anyway with everywhere we went it was a 26 1/2 mile ride at least that is what the GPS said it was I always carry the GPS in fact I have a carrier on the bike for it and it is on the whole time we ride on the one section of it that gives us the speed and the mileage that we went that is one fecture that I like and it works that is the main thing here are some pictures that I took today enjoy

    This is the sign to the place where we rode to the End Of the Trail for us and also a Lunch Break for us the other trail head it up this little trail a little there is tables and stuff like that

    There is another sign on the other side of the stop sign that says Rockwood this is a area that we had to ride threw but man is this place nice which you will see in the next few pictures

    This is the B&B that is one the trail can you believe it they have a B&B right on the Trail

    And Yes there is a Bike Shop on the trail also it is right beside the B&B

     and not to be out done this is a sign for a Camp on the trail in fact the only way to get to these camp sites is on the trail it is about 1/2 up the trail from the B&B execpt this is really on the trail in Rockwood , to say that this trail is great is a understatment I really like it and I know a lot of other people do also this is a very heavyly traveled trail
