  • We made out way to another trail on Saturday it wasn't the Frostburg trip tho, It just wasn't in the cards for that ride we did however did go to another trail and I have to say that before this trail on all of the other ones I really enjoyed but this trail to my dismay is alful Like I said all of the other trails I really enjoyed riding but this one really is bad in fact they had so much Junk on the trail it really was a little dangerous in a way if you wasn't watching where you were going and the smell of the place was just rotten like a sawer to say that I didn't have a good time is a understatment and man the trail it self with the hills man a hugh 8% grade that is a hugh hill, So we went to the lower half of the trail in a different section they have these stepts that we would have to walk up and carry our bikes and there must have been about 200 to 300 steps to go up and to think they expected us to carry our bikes and all the grear on the bikes up these stepts that is a little nuts so needless to say that trail is totally off our list and also is on the list not to go back to for sure so then we went to another one and the same thing it really wasn't a very good one for us either so I guess we'll just stick to the ones that are around here and just a little bit to the south of us and to the east of us, I guess I keep execpting them to be like the Lower Trail in Blair County and to the Allegheny Trail in Somerset they are two of the nice's trails that we have been on this yeat But we can not count out the Ghost Town Trail that is also a very nice trail so the three of them are the best ones that we have found so far but like I said to my buddy we wouldn't have known if we didn't go and check it out so now we know, I took some pictures of that trail but it is not worth the trrouble of going to get them and post them if they were nice I wouldn't have a second thought of posting them but the way it is now it just isn't worth the trouble

  • Hi,  My husband is an infantryman in the army.  He is spending a year in Korea right now, sadly me and the kids are stuck stateside for that.  I am just trying to get more xang friends who understand the military life, and the demands it makes on a family.  Tell your kids thanks for what they are doing.

  • Thank you for your comment.  It is always nice to have someone who understands what you are going though.  I would love the prayers.  I can only imagine how you felt with both of your kids over at once.  My brother in law (my husband'b brother) died in Iraq in March, and so his parents are both a little freaked out now... not to mention myself. But yeah, thanks very much.  Where are your kids stationed now?

  • My husband has requested Ft Bragg.  His brother was 82nd Airborne, so now he is thinking about trying that himself.  How was Germany?  Is it a nice post?
