Didn't do too much today the Wife and I went out for breakfast at a local restaurant and had a good time, then se wanted to go to Big Lots for a pumpkin for Halloween already so we did that then we stopped for some corn on the cob from a local farmer and I have to say that it wasn't as good as the first time we got it but what can you do so for supper we had corn on the cob and hot dogs that turned our pretty good as far as that goes but I think that corn on the cob is out for the rest of this year, I guess we got the last of that crop or the corn was from a different field that didn't do that well, But the first time we got it was only 4 days ago and that was some really good corn on the cob maybe we were expecting too much, you know
I have to say that my Daughter has taught me a very important lesson that you should stop complaining about what has happened to you in the past and start looking forward to the future you can not move forward when you dell on the past, and I have to say that this is one lesson that I will not forget, If you have to remember something in the past make it a happy memories something you can be both happy about and also proud about. I guess I let some of the past get into the way of my future, so for now on it is a fresh clean start and happy memories
I have got a hold of one of my Daughter's Friends I have 2 packages here for her when I spoke to her this evening she said that she will be out tomorrow and I will give them to her, she is a nice person her and My Daughter grew up like sister's like one of my buddies and I grew up they did everything together, It is special to have a friend who knows you almost as good as you know yourself. like I said these 2 knew each other scene they were in Kindergarten and that is one heck of a long friendship yes they had their problems but the two of them always talked it threw and have always remained friends, Like my Daughter said they are Live Long Friends, and will always be there for one another.
I have a friend like that, We have known each other for almost 45 years we went to school together and his Mother was like a 2nd Mom to me and I have to say that I have learned a lot from her she always said to always put you kids first, The house can Waite that the kids are little only once and to enjoy it when you can, because they grow up so fast and you know that is the truth, When the kids were young I have to admit that I was a ass whole till I had a heart Attack and I have to say that Heart Attack was a awakening to me I almost lost everything I had My Children that is when I realized that God has given me a second chance and I better not screw it up and I didn't I took advantage of the second chance and I have to say that I have the best gift of all 2 Great Children and now they are 2 of the best adults that I know they really grew into 2 of the most caring people I know and they will do anything for you. But of course I am a little bit predigest, after all they are my Children, and they are both very Important to me they are my life, They both have taken leave to be with me when I had to have my Angioplasty's My Son came in for the 1st one in Jan of last year he came in from North Caroline and My Daughter came in for the 2nd in Nov of last year and she came in from Germany so to say that God has really bless me is a understatement, As I keep saying I am a very lucky Man
